SAFETY IS OUR
Job site safety is our utmost priority. Loder Construction has developed an approach that allows for Job Site Safety to be observed in every phase of construction regardless of its size and complexity. We are proud to say that our system has worked since its conception, as we have not had a documented injury since implementation.
CLEARLY DEFINED SAFETY POLICIES
We post them on the wall, literally. For the duration of the project a list of Safety Policies’ are attached to the walls of our projects. It is customized for every project and amended with the preventive measures discussed and approved during the Start-up Safety Meeting.
At the heart of our approach is accountability. We insure that everyone involved with in the project is notified of changes to the Safety Policies. Loder Construction’s Superintendent is on site full-time enforcing the Safety Policies and leading the safety meetings.
During our start-up meeting, all involved parties are to attend a mandatory safety meeting. This outlines the idiosyncrasies of the project’s locations and logistics that will affect the safety of the subcontractors and their crew. Just the acknowledgment of the locations and times of the greatest risk, prevents the majorly of hazards.
All work crews are subject to safety orientation weekly and upon their initial site visit. This results in a cohesiveness among crews, as well as familiarity of the project layout and schedule. The crews work as a team which benefits all parties.

Loder Construction Inc.’s history, begins at the end of another legendary construction company. Ron Loder Jr. started as an apprentice carpenter for The Hahn Company in 1976. Earnest W. Hahn becoming the driving force first in the field, then in the office.
After building major malls all over the nation, the mega builder left California and soon dissolved. Ron started what is now Loder Construction Inc. and remained in Northern California in 1992.
He started small, but using contacts from his 20 years with the Hahn Company, he finished many of the loose ends left to the malls and other projects. The hard worked paid off when he landed the build out for the iconic Hard Rock Café, Sacramento. The use of quality subcontractors and exceptional superintendents, warranted the need for an equally outstanding full time staff and office. Ron has built his company to be a force in the commercial construction industry not only in mall construction projects, but also in retail, medical, dental, commercial building spaces, athletic facilities and restaurants in the greater Sacramento region.
Our ability to work with remote clients and conduct complex and intricate construction projects rapidly expanded when Loder Construction digitalized our procedures and Plan Archive. We now can work with architects, clients, and suppliers from coast to coast and can correspond instantly to our field representatives. Drawings, photos and sketches can be made readily available to everyone involved with the project.
